The Park City Arts & Culture District is a partnership with the Kimball Art Center and Sundance Institute with the goal of creating a central Sundance operating venue and an expanded Kimball Art Center. The aim is to provide spaces for local and visiting artists to create in studios for rent, learn and teach in workshop spaces, dine in the food hall, listen to live music and meander the common area grounds. A mass transit hub will be located on the sight, providing a more car free experience.

Affordable housing will be extensive throughout the district, in the form of rentals, but not for sale. The purpose it to provide affordable housing that will not turn into regular housing in the future, which often is the case in Park City. There will be 51 units, comprising studio and micro unit apartments.

Park City Arts and Culture District will not be a “park and ride” area.  The District will provide 282 parking spaces, meant for the residents and patrons of the District. A “park and ride” lot will be built at Quinn’s Jct., where Kearns Blvd (HWY 248) and HWY 40 intersect, with busses that will transport commuters into town.

Overall, the Park City Arts & Culture District will provide an beautiful community cultural area, in a central part of Park City, walking distance to both Park Meadows and Prospector neighborhoods, as well as parts of Old Town.
